Summer Picnics

The sun is out the sky is blue there's not a cloud to spoil the view so lets eat.

Barbecues are not the only meals that can be enjoyed 'al-fresco' a wonderfully simple picnic is a wonerful summer treat for all the family. With the advent of the 'disposeable barbecue' you can now combine the two with wonerful results. I am quite fortunate in that I live quite near to the sea. In the summer months I really like to pack the family into the car and head off to the beach for a lovely picnic. The thing to remember about picnics is plan ahead and keep it simple. If you must take a barbecue with you remember to keep the food cold on the journey to the picnic and before it is cooked. Disposable barbecues do not last as long as their permanent counterparts so remeber this when planning the food.
