Whiskey Sour

Whisky SourA classic whiskey cocktail with the addition of goldschlagger - a cinnamon-flavoured schnapps with gold flakes, fresh ginger and vanilla syrup. One measure is equivalent to 25 ml/1½ tbsp.

Ingredients
2 measures bourbon
goldschlagger
½ measure vanilla syrup
1 measure fresh lemon juice
1 tsp of grated fresh root ginger
ice to serve
lemon zests to decorate

Method
1. In a cocktail shaker combine the bourbon, goldschlagger, vanilla and ginger.
2. Top up with the lemon juice and shake in the shaker with a handful of ice.
3. Strain and serve into cocktail glasses. Decorate with twists of lemon zest.
