Pasta al Aglio Olio E Peperoncino

One of the simplest pasta recipes around. Great with some freshly grated parmesan cheese. The garlic oil and hot chilli seem to combine really well.

Pasta al Aglio Olio e PeperoncinoIngredients
1lb Spaghetti
Olive Oil
3 Cloves Garlic
1-2 Red Chillies

Method

Cook the pasta until a firm al-dente.
In a pan fry the garlic and chillies in some olive oil. Take care when using the chillies, if you like your food hot and spicy leave the seeds in, if you prefer the sauce to be a little milder de-seed the chillies first. Add the oil mixture to the pasta and toss thoroughly. Serve garnished with some pasil leaves.
